While Dineout specific tags - Venue type, dining format, occasions, and special facilities make it easier for customers to find the ideal dining experience. These labels help your store stand out for what you’re best known for, attracting customers who are searching for your offerings.

Based on your menu and store, our system will recommend relevant cuisine tags and dish labels that you can choose from to best represent your store. Similarly, halal certification ensures that customers seeking halal options can confidently choose your store. While you can always choose any of the available Dineout tags.

Grab uses these labels to display your store on GrabFood and highlight a few of them on your store’s detail page in the Grab app.

How to manage your store’s Halal status, cuisine/dish and Dineout labels

  1. On the Grab Merchant app, go to your store profile.
  2. Navigate to the Store experience & certification.
  3. Update your store’s Halal status and cuisine/dish labels:
    • Halal status: Tap Halal and upload your Halal certification.
    • Cuisine labels: Tap Cuisine type and select the label that applies to your store.
    • Dish labels: Tap Popular dishes and choose the dish labels that best represent your menu.
  4. Update your dineout store’s labels - venue type, dining format, occasions and facilities.
    • Venue type - Tap Venue type and select one of the label that best describes your dineout store.
    • Dining format - Tap on Special Dining format and select all the labels that best apply to you dineout store.
    • Occasions - Tap on Occasions and select the ones for which you dineout store is suitable.
    • Facilities - Tap on Facilities and select the ones that your store offers.
