Option groups let your customers customise their orders, like choosing sugar levels, ice levels, or drink sizes. You can create, edit, delete, and manage these groups easily using the GrabMerchant app or portal. Here’s how:

Create option groups

I prefer using the GrabMerchant app\n
  1. On the app homepage, tap Menu and go to the Option Groups tab.
  2. Tap Create Option Group and name your group (e.g., \"\"Sugar levels\"\").
  3. Tap Add an Option, input the option name and price (e.g., ₱50 for \"\"Large\"\"), then tap Add.
  4. Repeat to add more options. Drag the three lines icon to reorder options.
  5. Set whether the group is required or optional for customers.
  6. Tap Review Option Group, then Create Option Group to save.

I prefer using the GrabMerchant portal\n
  1. On the portal homepage, go to Menu > Option Groups > Create New Option Group.
  2. Click Add new option, name your group, and add options with prices.
  3. Set the minimum or maximum quantity customers can select.
  4. Click Link Items to apply the group to menu items.
  5. Review details and click Create Option Group.

Edit option groups

  2. Update the details and tap Save.

Delete option groups

  1. Go to Menu > Option Groups, tap Edit, then Edit Option Group.
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete Option Group. Confirm by tapping Yes, Delete.

  1. Hover over the option group in Menu > Option Groups and click the pencil icon.
  2. Scroll down and click Delete Option Group. Confirm by clicking Delete.

Rearrange options within a group

  1. Go to Menu > Option Groups, tap Edit, then Edit Option Group.
  2. Drag the three lines icon to reorder options and tap Review Option Group.
  3. Tap Create Option Group to save changes.

  1. Click the option group in Menu > Option Groups.
  2. Click Rearrange Options, drag the four lines icon, and click Save Changes.

Link/unlink option groups to/from menu items

  1. Go to Menu > Option Groups, tap Edit, then x Items linked.
  2. Tap Link to add items or Remove Link to unlink items.

  2. Click Link Items, select items, and click Link x Items.
