We have improved our Merchant Menu Editor to allow for even easier menu management. Menu edits based on the following use cases can be directly made using the GrabMerchant app or portal, and will no longer be supported by the request form. You can find step-by-step instructions on how to use the menu editor in the sections below.

[NEW] GrabFood Flexible Modifier Quantity Setup

\n

Flexible Modifier Quantity gives consumers more flexibility when customising their orders. When enabled for your menu, consumers can select multiple quantities of the same modifier – for example, 2× extra cheese or 3× pearls – using the + / − controls, up to the maximum quantity set for the item.

Create an Item

    • Photos: Add photos to your menu item to improve sales conversion. Consumers are more likely to choose dishes that are visually appealing. You can upload up to 4 photos for each menu item.
      • \n
    • Item name: The name of the dish or specific food item (e.g. Chicken Rice). Input item name in title case (e.g. 'Chicken Burger', not 'chicken burger') and go for a name that is easy to understand.
      • \n
    • Description (optional): Include a brief description of the item in sentence case (e.g. 'Served with fries', not 'Served With Fries'). Items with descriptions are more likely to be popular with consumers.

    • Translation: To bring more consumers to your store, we've enabled auto translation of your items' name and description to tourist-friendly languages. You can edit or remove this feature on the GrabMerchant app.\n \"Auto\n

    • Available for: Set the order type your item is applicable for (e.g. if alcoholic beverages are only available for pickup orders, only select pickup).
      • \n
    • Price: Set the price of your item. You can set custom prices for different order types. We strongly recommend for menu prices to be the same as those in-store to provide for optimal consumer experience.

    • Category: A group of items (e.g. main dish, side dish, dessert or beverages) useful for organising your menu items, so consumers can easily find what they want. You can select from existing categories or create new ones.

    • At the bottom of the page, tap Add a new category.\n
