All charges are automatically deducted from your store earnings—no upfront payment is required.

\n
Ad campaigns
\n
On the GrabMerchant App, ads are charged on a cost-per-order (CPO) basis for completed orders. On the GrabMerchant Portal, ads can be charged on a cost-per-mile basis (video/image ads) or cost-per-click basis (search/listing ads).
\n

Promotions
\n
You’ll fund the discount value of your promo for completed promo orders.
\n

Spotlight campaign
\n
You’ll be charged a Marketing Fee and the discount value of your promo for completed orders. The Marketing Fee may include a fixed fee and a variable advertising fee. Learn more here.
\n

Dine Out Discounts
\n
Grab fees are based on the discounted value of completed transactions. For example, if your outlet offers a 15% discount on a ฿100 bill (10% funded by you, 5% funded by Grab), and Grab’s fees are 5%, Grab’s fees will be 5% of ฿90 = ฿4.50 (before tax).
\n

\n
Frequently Asked Questions:
\n
Ad Campaigns
\n<details>
How does Grab attribute orders to my ads?
\n
Orders are attributed to your ad if placed within one hour of seeing the ad or within 24 hours of clicking on it. If multiple ads are running, only the CPO of the last ad seen by the customer will be charged.
\n
Example:
\n
If a customer interacts with an ad and places multiple orders within the 24-hour window, all those orders will count toward the campaign. For example, if your campaign targets only new customers and a new customer clicks on an ad and places 2 orders within 24 hours, both orders will be attributed to the campaign — even if they might not be considered as a new customer for the second order. While an individual order cannot be linked to more than one ad, a single customer can make multiple orders after engaging with an ad, resulting in multiple conversions within the attribution window.
</details>\n<details>
How do CPO and daily budget work for ads on the GrabMerchant App?
\n
Your CPO charges are drawn from your daily budget, which is the average amount you’ll spend daily during the campaign. Actual daily spend may fluctuate by up to 30% to optimise results. For example, a ฿100 daily budget could result in charges up to ฿130 on a given day. You can also see this information at multiple touchpoints:

Campaign creation (budget setting step)

Campaign Report page

</details>\n<details>
Why is my reported ad spend above my set daily budget?
\n
You may see charges higher than your daily ad budget for two reasons:

1. We use a soft daily cap that allows spend to go up to +30% on high-opportunity days (and less on slower days) to maximize results.
2. For billing efficiency, most ad spend is charged on the same day, but ad spend from 10:00 PM–12:00 AM (local time) is billed the next day and combined with that day’s 12:00 AM–10:00 PM spend. Hence a single day’s charge can include late spend from the previous day plus part of the current day.
\n

Eg. On Sep 1, you spend THB 20 in total on an Auto Keywords campaign: THB 15 from 12:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and THB 5 from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM. On Sep 2, you spend THB 10 from 12:00 AM to 10:00 PM. As late-night spend (10PM - 12AM) is billed the next day, your Sep 2 charge will include THB 5 from Sep 1 + THB 10 from Sep 2.

The ad charge will appear in your finance report as a single line item which in the above example’s case, it’ll appear as “Auto Keywords - 2025-09-02” for a total of THB 15.

\n
3. You might see up to a THB 0.01 difference in the tax amount due to rounding.
</details>\n<details>
How do I choose between automatic and manual CPO settings?
\n
We recommend the Automatic option, which adjusts CPO in real-time for competitive rates. If you prefer a fixed maximum CPO, choose Manual, but note that Grab won’t optimise the rate during the campaign.
</details>\n<details>
What is bid price and how am I charged for ads on the GrabMerchant Portal?
\n
Bid price is the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for an ad. Grab uses a second-price auction system, where the highest bidder pays one baht more than the second-highest bidder. Charges vary based on real-time bidding and ad quality.
</details>\n<details>
For Multi-outlet Campaigns, how does the daily budget work?
\n
Our system works to optimise your budget across all targeted stores, ensuring you get the best results for your campaign.
